"Joyce has been a second mother to me. Ever since I can remember my mom and Joyce have been the best of friends, and often I would join them on their "speed-walks" throughout the neighborhood. I always loved seeing that familiar face first at the Smoky Row Elementary library, and later at the public library. Over the years I have gotten to know Joyce and her family very well, and I know she will be greatly missed by all. She has touched my entire family, and Joyce will not be forgotten. With my sincerest condolences, Amanda Meyer"
