"John was my grandfather. I remember Christmas with him, coming in and as soon as I did he would pat his knee telling me to sit on his lap. He would had me a candy cane and ask me about school. I know we haven't been as close in the past few years but he will be missed but never forgotten!! I love you grandpa!!!"

"John was a gentle man with a great heart. It was great spending time with him and my cousin, Marjie. He was always interested in your story and willing to help others when he could see a way. He learned the way of service in so many ways. May he now be blessed and remembered. Rest in the heart of God!"

"I remember the days when Mr. Clark would come into BGI and slowing walk up those stairs. I so enjoyed speaking with him; he had such a sweet and gentle soul. But I especially remember his smile and the twinkle in his eye. May peace and comfort be with all of you this day and the days to come."
