"John, Megan, Ashley and Family,We are all deeply saddened here in New Mexico and all of our thoughts and prayers are with you all. An image that has always remained with me must have happened shortly after John and Anne met. It must have been in 1977 or 1978. I remember being in the church parking lot at Christ the King, and Anne and John were leaving church. They were almost skipping together back to their car, holding hands and looking completely in love. Even though I was only 9 years old at the time, I remember thinking how I hoped to be that happy with someone someday. It was a blessing to have her in this world, and now all of our relatives who have gone before us, especially Nana, are glad to have her with them now. "

Mary Spragg (Aunt Dee) wrote on Nov 13, 2012:

"Dear John, Megan and Ashley,March 6th was the birthday of Anne's great-grandmother, Mary J. Kassenbrock. I'm sure there's a great reunion with Nana, Grandpa, Uncle Jay and all of our relatives who have gone. Anne will be missed in all family gatherings, but our memories will live forever. I remember when Anne was a little girl with lots of beautiful curly hair. Her dad used to call her Miss Priss. She will be missed dearly."

"There are so many childhood memories that include Mrs. Garber: skiing, Lake Wawasee, Florida, field trips, volleyball games...the list goes on. I will always remember her dedication to both her family and community, as well as her generosity. Not many mothers would drive their kids' friends everywhere and let them spend the night at their house almost every weekend. I have no doubt that she is with the Lord, brightening up heaven with her smile and laughter."

"John, Megan, Ashley, Bob and Dottie, Rob, Chris, John, Drew and Matt -From the days growing up on Hillside Avenue, through Christ the King and Chatard, as a nurse and a friend, Anne was always someone we all could count on. She got it right , as always. Had she not been so wonderful, her time with us might have been longer. She deserves her place with God. She earned it through her daily life and actions. Perhaps all of our prayers for her healing were answered by He who knew what was best for her. Our loss is great. We must have faith that we can live in her spirit of love, and honor her by following the great example of her life.Jo Ann Brezette, Carmel, INjobreeze@aol.com"
