"Bill Vaughn is one of my dad (David Clement's) dearest friends and he holds a special place in our family's heart as well. I only met Rebecca and JoEllen a few times and that was many, many years ago. Our dads took us in the dune buggy and we went flying through the mud having a blast. In fact, I laughed when I found the picture of all of us covered in mud not more than a month ago in a box. Throughout the years I'd get updates from my dad or even Bill with what the girls were up to. This is such a tragic loss and I know she'll be missed terribly. The whole family has been and will continue to be in our prayers. I ask for God to give you all strength, comfort and peace. I know she's with her maker and I know our Lord will keep a special watch over her precious son until he calls us all to be reunited in Heaven. "I didn't know Rebecca on a personal basis, but I do know Matthew, I was his teacher at Pixie Playhouse when he was just three years old. Matthew was such a fun little guy that LOVED his mommy, he often told me that he couldn't wait until his mommy came to pick him up.I am so sorry to hear about this terrible loss for Matthew and his grandparents MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND WRAP HIS ARMS AROUND YOU TO HELP YOU GET THROUGH THIS TERRIBLE TIME."

"I am so sad to learn about Rebecca. What a loss to this world. She was such a beautiful person- so kind and caring. Her laugh was always to contagious. I was in graduate school with her. She was smart, motivated and always a friend. I know her son gave her much joy. There is another angel in heaven watching over us. "
