"I'm very sorry to hear about Marty. We went to grade school and high school together. Last weekend, a daughter and son-in-law were visiting us and wanted to see Peoria so we went to visit. We drove through the old neighborhood and I always remember Marty's childhood home at the top on the hill and always think of him when I am in that area even though I have not seen him in years. He was always a great guy. "

"Sharon, Marcia kindly forwarded this sad information to me. I will hold you and your family in my prayers. I can think back fondly to our St. Mark's years, from Columbia Terrace to Moss Avenue. As I move on through life, I realize more with each passing day, that the people with whom I have the strongest bonds are those with whom I grew up, sharing the same values and enjoying so many important and formative experiences. You and Marty were part of that reality for both of us.Carol and Rob"
