Juanita ?Nita? Chisler, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully December 27, 2007. She was born on January 27, 1927 to the late Oscar and Olive Thompson Harris. Juanita had been a Professor at the Indiana University School of Dentistry where she also received her Bachelors Degree. She was a member of the Millersville Order of Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by two brothers; one sister and a granddaughter. Survivors include her husband, George Chisler, whom she married on December 8, 1945; children, Nancy S. Thompson, Thomas ?Tim? Chisler (Marilyn), Maryann Chisler; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. in Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
