"Sandy,I am so sorry for your loss. I loved your Dad. He was the one who introduced me to the most important person that I have ever known, Jesus, and he introduced me to a very good friend, you. Even though distance and circumstances have kept us apart, you and your family have always had a very special place in my heart. I love you. Susie3980 NCR. 850 WYorktown, In 47396765-2120769"

"He was Grandpa to us. I've known him since I was 6. I'm 37 now. He came up to MI to see us many times. We've had many wonderful years together. Your Mom and Dad let me stay in TN with them when I was 18. Audrey showed me how to serve guests. I thought the bath tub was the best. Ferris showed me how to paint and told me how to run off boyfriends. I had a lot of fun, and will never forget it. Love Jeanne Gott"

"What a full and exciting life Ferris lived. He lived his life purposefully and tried to teach everyone he knew to do the same. We visited with him for a couple of hours in April of 2008 and never suspected it would be our last visit. He will be greatly missed and our reunion with him and Audrey in heaven is something we joyously anticipate."

"To Ferris' family,I did not know you but heard Ferris speak fondly of you many times. Ferris had a profound effect on my life over the years. I know that he is resting from his labors now and is reunited with family and friends who went on before. Someday, we shall all be together and see Jesus face to face. My condolences to your family in your loss."

"I have known and ministered alongside Ferris in the past. I have always known him to be a great encourager of people to remain in the faith. His love for Christ and the gospel never wavered. The Church on earth will miss him and his bold and compassionate preaching of Christ and His love; of Christ mighty to save. "

"Dear Sandy and family, I know that your father would say for us to rejoice for him, and I do. That doesn't mean he won't be missed terribly by all those whose lives he touched.I learned so much from him,and though I am not in any fellowship now , I think of, and apply many of those teachings in my life today. You may remember staying in a little rental behind Larry and Sandi's in 1980 for a short while.I lost Larry in 1997 and even though we hadn't been in touch for many years, your mom and dad came to comfort me at that time. They were real, and in my heart, will always be loved."
