Shirley Couts wrote on Nov 13, 2012:

"Stevie, Rodney, Kris, AmyI am so sorry to hear of Bucky's passing. I first met your Dad at Riverview Hospital one very hot July night in 1966. He was the guy nervously waiting the birth of his first son Stephen. I was awaiting the birth of my first son Steven. A few years later, I reconnected with him through my second husband Roy (CFD) who was his friend. Still, later, the two Steve's went into the Marine Corps together, served in the same company, and came home from boot camp together. In 1976, I had the privilege of working with your father at CPD. Who knew that one chance meeting in the delivery waiting room would evolve into so many memories and connections. I guess we were even once related through marriage (as Jim was, at one time, my brother-in-law). Although I haven't seen him for a few years, he will always be an important part of my own history and memories and I will remember him as kind, good man and a good friend who often encouraged me, offered advice and a funny story to lighten the day. Shirley Couts, Steve and Susann"
