"I have gone from rags to riches in the sorrow of the night
In the violence of a summer's dream, in the chill of a wintry light,
In the bitter dance of loneliness fading into space,
In the broken mirror of innocence on each forgotten face.
I hear the ancient footsteps like the motion of the sea
Sometimes I turn, there's someone there, other times it's only me.
I am hanging in the balance of a perfect finished plan *)

I weep for those of us left behind who miss you. I look forward to the time we all get the chance to be together again where the streets are made of gold in the land that will never grow old!! ...... " I was terribly shocked and saddened to hear of Cullen's passing. When these things happen it has become all to common to say how " special " or '' unique '' the person was , but in my life I cannot remember a case where those terms would be truer or more aprop iat then in Cullen's case. They truly broke the mold for him , and I for one certainly never expect to meet anyone like that again. Although our lives ultimately took us on very different paths , and sadly I have not spoken to Cullen for far,far too long ,I take enormous comfort in the fact that he obviously made a great life for himself prof esionlly ,and was loved and respected by his friends and his wonderful family. Unfortunately ,and to my great emberrasment , I did not learn of Cullen's death in time to attend his funeral , but of course my thoughts and deepest sympathies go to his family in what surely must be one of their most trying hours. You have always been a close and loving family , and doubtless will be a great source of comfort and strength to each other in what are surely terrible and difficult days. If I could offer any comfort , It would be merely to remind that the grief and loss are our cup, and ours alone , to drink from now. Cullen is forever beyond those bitter dregs , and if there is a world beyond this one , as I know he believed there was , he can only be attacking it with same vigor and almost childlike enthusiasm with which he went after the things here that interested him and captured his abundant passions. As has already been noted ,Cullen had a sincere and lifelong love for music. Over these last few days I have found the song "There' No Way Out of Here " by Monster Magnet to be strangely poingnant and somehow comforting. It is cover of the David Gilmoure song of the same name.I personally prefer Monster Magnet's version , but both are excellent . As far as a song Cullen liked , one couldn't go far wrong with anything by the Doors , Zeppelin , or Arroesmith ( although if you go with the 'smith , I would shy away from the last couple albums ) . In closing,my heart . and of course my families , go out the Ryan's and all who knew and cared about him. Anyone wishing to contact me is more than welcome to do so at 731 5817 or this E-mail adress. I would love to hear where his story took him after our chapter. Ah Cullen , now the Great Adventure? To soon for the rest of , but I'm sure you're having a ball.Joke's on them one last time!Well done my friend, well done. Dustin Green"
