"Our hearts and prayers are with you all and we all are saddended by your loss, as well as ours. We have always thought of ourselves as your extended family, and he will be truly missed.Danny was never afraid of hard work and the dedication to his family and profession was always a great source of joy and happiness to him.One of my fondest memories of Danny was as a teenager. He and one of his neighborhood buddies had went to McDonalds one afternoon. His mother, Betty and I were sitting out under our big Maple tree in the our front yard. We heard this singing, and it was Danny and Dennis, coming down the street carry two bags of McDonald trash. He was singing the McDonald's jingle at that time. Of course Betty and I are hysterical by this time wondering what in the world he was doing. Come to find out, after they were thru eating, Danny had accidently thrown his retainer away. Being the responsible young man that he was, he brought the trash home to look for it. I don't think I ever found out if he had ever found it or not, but I can still see his singing, at the top of his lungs, carrying those two trash bags!Danny worked hard and played harder. We will all miss him, especially his family and loving wife Janna. God will get you all thru this, We all lost a truly remarkable husband, son, father, brother, friend, but God gained an amazing angel! We love you all,"

I am so very sorry for your loss and I pray for your entire family."

"Dear Faulk Family ~ I had been a patient since 2000. Dr. Faulk never failed to enter the room without a smile. He walked me through the toughest surgeries and when they were starting anesthesia I wouldn't do it without him there. I was afraid so he stood at the window at Methodist and waved each time just so I knew he was there even though he himself had to scrub up and prepare. He was the best, he cared about his patients, and he will be greatly missed. Know I will be praying for you. ~ Mandy"

"There are no words to express the sorrow i feel for your entire family , with the loss of such an amazing man. I have had the pleasure of knowing Danny for many years, as i have worked in the dental field (referring patients to him) and having the blessing of working with 2 of his sisters Deana And Gay. Which fortunately for me,put me in the path of knowing much of the family:) What an amazing oral surgeon, and better yet , an amazing man. Proud to know him, proud to be a part of his family, proud that we crossed paths. Thankful for all that he gave to all of us, and pray that somehow the peace of knowing that he will no longer suffer finds my "other family". Prayers and love to all of you during this extremely difficult time! Love, Suzie"

I will never forget my first surgery with Dr. Faulk because he was the one that trained me, taught me himself and took the time to explain everything very thoroughly. "This condolence comes a bit late, but it is heartfelt. I was stunned to see Dr. Faulk's obituary. My son Matthew was a patient of his. Matthew had undergone surgery 3 times on his face due to injuries suffered from a dog bite; as he grew, the need arose for oral surgery as well (unrelated to the dog bite, but still not something Matthew looked forward to.) Matthew wound up going through three surgeries with Dr. Faulk as well, and as a mother I found him to be so wonderful with my son. In addition, Dr. Faulk worked to correct an insurance issue we had; I remember being so impressed the doctor got involved. He cared. It came through in how he treated his patients, and I'll always appreciate him making what was a hard time for my son somewhat easier. I sincerely hope all the prayers that are no doubt being sent your way are helping you get through this rough time."

"My son, Bryce, was a patient of Dr. Faulk's. He went through jaw surgery this past December (2009). Dr. Faulk was suppose to do the surgery but had a shoulder injury that prevented him from doing it so Dr. Adelsperger performed the surgery. Dr. Faulk made it a point to stop in while Bryce was in surgery to check on him. Little did we know about HIS problems that he was having. He never let on to his patients...always was happy, personable & very passionate about his work & helping his patients . Dr. Faulk was a very sweet man. We are so sad to hear of his passing. We will definately miss him!!!!!"

"Dear Faulk family,Like many in this guestbook, I too was a patient of Dr. Faulk's. I just learned of his passing today while getting some other dental work done. Of any doctor - dental, medical, or otherwise - Dr. Faulk is hands down the best I have ever had. He helped me and my family through my massive procedure and it is no exaggeration to say he changed my life. His skills are unparalleled and his passion for his patients evident in every word. He even went above and beyond his call of duty by going to bat for me and my family when the insurance company began giving us trouble. I regret not taking the five minutes to stop by the office to show off how his work turned out now 9 years later.I work with physicians everyday now and have yet to meet one of the quality, character, and passion of Dr. Dan Faulk. I offer my sincerest condolences and prayers.Sincerely,Ted Brandt"

"My son just informed us of Dr. Faulk's passing. He was such a vibrant and passionate person that it is hard to grasp that he would have passed away at such an early age! Certainly his family and friends miss him as much today as when he left over a year ago. His caring spirit and strength coupled with amazing talent and skills helped our son through a very challenging surgery that, in the end, transformed our son in many positive ways - both physically but also emotionally. He will be remembered and held in high regard by our family always. Our sincere condolences. Rodney & Candace Brandt"

"We have just heard of your loss. Dr. Faulk had a gentleness and confidence that always put us at ease. He was our doctor for two of our children and we were going to see him for our third. We had a health issue in the family that may have contributed to our not knowing of your loss. We saw a lot of doctors, thus-we wanted you to know that Dr. Faulk was a standout. Of the two children he cared for, one is now a nurse and the other is about to go to medical school. We pray that they will have his grace while caring for their patients. Thank you for sharing him with us. The Gruenhagen Family."
