"Dr. Bogan and Phyllis along with her parents, the Grambush's and brother, Jim, were all residents of the apartment building my parents owned on North Delaware Street in Indianapolis in the 50's and 60's. It was to this apartment the twins were brought after their births. I believe we must have been some of his first patients when he began his private practice; I know he was still in private practice when he crowned my tooth-I still have the original crown and it is now more than 50+ years since that dental appointment. My current dentist studied under Dr. Bogan and is continually amazed at how well the crown has endured-no leakage and has never had to be repaired in all these years. He was an artist as a dentist and a very fine man-both family wise and professional. I am proud to have known him. To refresh Mrs. Bogan's memories, my parents' names were Shirley & Modesta Myers."
"I was saddened to hear the news of the passing of Dr. Bogan. He was a very nice and respected man. I was accepted into the IUSD in 1987 and got to know Dr. Bogan at this time. He will be missed.Dr. Brad Sammons"

"We met Bob and Phyllis when we moved in next door to them at Robin Run. They were such welcoming neighbors. I'm sorry we didn't know them in the early years, but we were tickled with Bob's gardening. We suspected that he would rather be doing something more productive, but he gave it his best. He and Phyllis seemed like such good partners. He will surely be missed, and Phyllis and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers."
"Phyllis, I enjoyed my time with you and Bob from the very beginning at Adult Day Center to Home Instead trying to ease some of the difficulties being endured. I thank God I was able to see both of you and the love that was shared by you and your family. God bless you."
