Donald Lee Hocker, age 81, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011. Born September 11, 1929, he was the son of the late Lee and Maude (Clark) Hocker. A daughter, Sandy Hocker, and a brother, David Hocker, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Hocker loved sports and was an avid Colts fan and also coached his sons baseball and football teams. He was a Marine veteran and past member of both the Antelope Lodge and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy (Kec) Hocker; his daughter, Debra Turner; his sons: Steve Hocker and David Hocker; his sister, Ruth Moore; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation to celebrate his life will be Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel. A short memorial service will follow the visitation.
