"Although I have only know Steve and Mardy since marrying Walt in 2003, I have often heard stories of the "good old GTE days". One story Walt loves to tell takes place at his home where he was hosting a GTE dinner/party. After dinner a game called, Truth and Lies was to be played. You tell a fact about yourself and the guests try to guess if it is true or false. When it was Steve's turn, he said that he paid his college tuition by playing piano in a nightclub. Well, everyone laughed and laughed over this "lie" but, it was the truth! Then Steve sets down at the piano and plays song after song. Walt and the other guests were really shocked and delighted to see this side of Steve. Mardy, Steve is playing on a Golden piano today and all the pain and suffering are over. Please know how much we love you and are lifting you and your family up in our prayers. You are remarkable woman, God bless you! Emily and Walt Winesburg"
