Robert G. Feeney, 43, passed away on March 7, 2013. He was born on November 23, 1969 in Indianapolis. Known as Bob or Bobby, he loved to share that he was Indiana's youngest Eagle Scout in 1983. Bob attended grade school at Immaculate Heart of Mary and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1988. He studied English at Xavier University. In 2001, he married Sherry, the love of his life. Allison, their beautiful daughter, was born in 2005.
Bob's greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. He loved to listen to good music, cook outdoors, play games and tell jokes. He was a devoted fan of Notre Dame football and the Indianapolis Colts.
Bob is survived by his wife, Sherry; daughter, Allison; mother, Joan; step-daughters: Laurisa Nunn (Todd), Monica Soel (Mike), and Cassie Largy; sisters: Ann Feeney Durose (James), Susan Leonard (Brian), Kay Feeney Caito (Joe) and Nancy Baranyk (David); nieces and nephews: Isabella & Cecilia Baranyk, Madeleine & Riley Leonard, Sloan & Nina Cherry, Josephine Wooldridge and Lyndsey Simpson; grandchildren: Joey, Kayla & Christian Manns, Tyler, Isaiah & Michael Pham, Dalena Do and Dylan Soel in addition to several cousins and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his father, Francis J. "Sandy" Feeney, Jr.
Visitation is on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 1:00 P.M - 3:00 P.M. The Celebration of Life ceremony will begin at 3:00 P.M. in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 East 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN. Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
