"Dave, Amy & Carson - Our son had the priviledge and honor to grow with Jake as they played hockey together for many years. All of our lives are better from his companionship and we are grateful for the times we had. It is truly sad for everyone that our time with him was so short as he had so much to give, but we are comforted in the knowledge he has gone to a better place. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always."

"I always admired Jake. He was such an interesting person. He was one of a kind. I always liked observing him. I remember when Carson and I were little he was having a get together at his house in the basement and he let us go down and hangout with his friends for a little bit. He taught us how to play kemps and he would make fun of us because we were obsessed with High School Musical. I love him and he is like a brother to me. I will always be there for you Carson & family. Forever and always. Jake will always be in my heart. "

"Dear, sweet Carson, and all of your family members, Ally and Jake were together since John Stange always playing soccer during recess, and even though they attended different high schools she said when they would run into each other he was still the same wonderful Jake. His love for family, and your importance to him, will remain in your hearts forever, and he will bless you through your memories that will keep him alive forever. May he have found the peace that he sought, and may you and your family feel the warm arms from all who love both Jake, and you, as you travel this unwanted road ahead. Love ya Carson!!"

Indeed."
