Madison - William "Will" M. Simmons, age 27 beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and best friend William Simmons died unexpectedly in his sleep on Thursday, August 18, 2016 morning of unknown causes.
William touched many lives, always for the better. He was an explorer, world traveler, soccer player, scuba diver, musician. His indomitable and adventurous spirit was an inspiration to all. He left us too soon and the world will be a poorer place without him. We are forever grateful for all the amazing people who made Will's dreams and aspirations possible. The funeral services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 220 Enterprise Drive, Verona, WI 53593 at 11:00 am with a visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of services. Procession and graveside services will follow at Natural Path Sanctuary, 2299 Spring Rose Road, Verona, WI 53593. A time to gather following the burial will be held from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Liz & Scott's house. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Family Support and Resource Center, Families Can't Wait fund, 101 Nob Hill Road, Madison, WI 53715.

"I remember Will very much. He was a bright light with a sweet smile. I remember going to visit Liz and Will at their home and learning about the assistive technology Will used to communicate.
