"Dear Uncle Darrell and cousins Cheri, Dave, Mark, and Rod and families, I was so sorry to hear of Margaret's passing and am sending condolences to each of you. She was a lovely person whose holiday cooking was amazing, contributions to Jackson County were large, and dedication to her family was very heart felt. I remember working at The Sentinel-Press and having some special one-on-one time with Margaret in order to write a food column on her culinary activities and skills. A very fond memory-- Peace to you all during this time-- Love and warm hugs, Pat Rimmer"

"Darrell,Rodney,Cheri,Dave&Mark and all the family. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathy in your loss of your life partner Darrell and to my cousins your very special Mom. Growing up I really appreciated Margaret as my Aunt! I have great memories that I will always treasure when I visited your home. I think she basked almost every birthday cake for our children as well as our wedding and other special events! I will never forget when I picked up Jen's 1st birthday cake, Darrell sat her up on the table and let her put her hands in that beautiful masterpiece that Margaret created! Still can hear him laughing! My heart is sad that we are out of the country and will miss Margaret's visitation and time to share our condolences and hugs and love with all of you! My tears are flowing as I type this. Our blessings to all of you."

To this day, I remember it and her sweetness and generosity with fondness. The Lord be with you & comfort you in your loss. "

"I remember at the brown bag luncheons that she was the nicest and friendliest lady. One of the luncheons I went up to her, asking her if everything was okay. She said she wasn't feeling good, so I rubbed her back. She told me that it felt good. She will surely be missed."
