"I just learned of Tim's passing today. Tim was kind and helpful from the moment at met him at Mondelez, and one of the friendly faces that I would look for at all of the awkward work events. Tim faught hard to make safety a priority at our company until people finally listened, and his values and belief in doing what was right impressed upon me instantly. I hope you have amazing memories of him that can give you strength and warm your hearts when you need it the most. Sheri Lynch"

"I was so sad to hear of Tim's passing. I had the honor of working with Tim for 15 years. He has always been a good friend and co-worker. My prayers are with Kerry and family during this difficult time. Tim had a true concern for all employees. I am a better person for knowing Tim."

Don Smith wrote on Sep 22, 2016:

"While it has been 12 years since I worked with Tim at Nabisco I remember him like it was yesterday. I was part of the NJ group he worked with over the years. We worked together for some 17 years and had lots of fun as Nabisco always did. The evening basketball games after meetings and the socail times after many meetings. He was a great professional to work with and the people in this organization that I stay in touch with were shocked by his death. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. A good man will be missed. Don Smith"

"My condolences to the Kerry and the Newquist family. I worked with Tim for 9 years at Kraft and Mondelez. Tim was a wonderful person to work with - a tell it like it is, no nonsense, guy, with a great sense of humour. One his first formal visit to my plant, before he introduced himself, Tim looked me up and down and said smugly, "You are the only safety manager I know who where's stilettos to work - but hey?"...I laughed hysterically and the rest is history. May God comfort you during this difficult time. You are in my prayers, and Tim will be sorely missed."

"Dear Kerry and the Newquist family - So sad to hear of Tim's passing. He was such a fun guy to work with and equally fun after work - just a great guy! His legacy will never be fully known, but we all know there are people who are healthy and happy today because of better decisions they made as a result of his influence on their life. That's a great thing to leave behind in the world and it going be a gift that keeps giving. He left the world a much better place. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely Pete Borozan "

"Knew Tim for many years at Kraft and, after I retired, working with him at the Meat Institute. He was a hard worker, and really looked out for the safety of the folks working in our plants. He made a very positive difference for many people in our company, and he will be missed. Most of all, though, he was a great guy, with a ready smile; someone you wanted to spend time with. And there are never enough of those."
