Jeanne Carmelle Denis passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 in Wellington, Florida in the presence of her family.
Jeanne Carmelle Denis was born on January 23, 1938 to Mombeleur Verpile and Elasmène Duret in Cavaillon, Haiti. It was during her high school years that Jeanne Carmelle met Robert Denis in Les Cayes. They soon fell in love and were married in their hometown. Before retiring to care for her children, Jeanne Carmelle Denis was an elementary school teacher in Cavaillon.
Jeanne Carmelle Denis is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Denis, and her daughter, Micheline Denard.

The viewing will be on Friday October 7th at Fred Hunter Hollywood Funeral Home, located at 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Services will be held on Saturday October 8th at Saint Bartholomew Catholic Church, located at 8005 Miramar Pkwy in Miramar at 12:00pm. Services will followed by interment at Fred Hunter Hollywood Memorial Gardens North, located at 3001 N 72nd Street in Hollywood.
