Michael Robert Dingman
January 27, 1948 - January 31, 2010

Michael R. Dingman, 62, of Webster City, died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening and after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday at Fosters. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #191 of Webster City.
Michael Robert Dingman, son of Harley and Wanda Smith Dingman was born on January 27, 1948 in Webster City, Iowa. He received his education and graduated from Webster City Senior High School in 1966. He also attended Webster City Junior College prior to his enlistment with the U.S. Navy. On August 4, 1968 he married Carlene K. Saathoff in Fort Dodge. The couple resided in Long Beach California and following his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy the couple then moved back to Webster City. Mike worked for a short time for Hahne Printing before he began his career with Northwestern Bell Telephone Company (Qwest) where he was a telephone technician for over 28 years until his retirement in 2005.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 41 years, Carlene Dingman; son, Chad Dingman; daughter, Staci Dingman; and mother, Wanda Dingman all of Webster City; two brothers, Blaine Dingman of Garner and Kevin Dingman of Webster City.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Harley Dingman in February of 1986.
