"Kevin, thank you for.... ...noticing every time I got my hair cut ...calling the cops when our house got broken into ...summertime backyard bonfires and "noodlin" jam sessions ...crashing our ladies' only parties ...having an awesome Chicago accent ...sharing stories about how our hood used to be ...hooking us up with carpet in our living room ...letting my rowdy friends and I stop by on New Year's Eve ...making me feel safe when Mike was out of town I am so fortunate to have been your neighbor for the past 7 years. You were larger than life and will always remain in my heart and memories. Stay rad 4 ever in Heaven, dude! Love, Malia"

"Kevin will be missed. As most here in Seattle will say, I met Kevin on the ice and his love for hockey was amazing. We played on the same team since 2003! He was the Captain and I was the Goalie. His friendship went beyond the hockey rink. Kevin was a great person and was always looking out for others. You will be missed my friend."
