Thomas Lear Wakefield
April 20, 1928 - March 19, 2009

Thomas L. WAKEFIELD, age 80, of Bothell, passed away in Kirkland on March 19, 2009. He was born in Butte, Montana on April 20, 1928. Mr. Wakefield served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1951 and later taught for the Seattle School District as a Chemistry Teacher until retiring in 1992. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Nancy M. Wakefield; daughter, Jann Renggli & husband Greg; grandchildren, Matthew, Destiny, Jeremy, Katie and Timothy; brother, Don Wakefield & wife Carol and by many nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Wakefield in 2007. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 28th at Evergreen Memorial Park. A memorial service and reception will follow at 3:00 PM at Evergreen - Washelli Funeral Home Chapel, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle, WA 98133.
