"I graduated the FBI Academy in March, 1996 with Kevin. Kevin, the youngest person in the class excelled at everything at the Academy. Kevin was able to attain a perfect score of 50 on the rigorous physical fitness test, was an excellent marksman and excelled at academics. Aside from his accomplishments at the academy, he was a really nice person to his classmates and made an impression on all of us. My classmates have all been saddened by the loss of Kevin and we have been reminiscing about our great memories of Kevin. May god bless Kevin and the entire McCarthy family. My heart goes out to all of you. "

"We are saddened by the loss of a great man in the Indianapolis community. He was a guy you were honored to know. We met him through his sister, Bridget, at Theology on Tap. Even if he didn't know you well, he was always willing to strike up a conversation and the person then had the pleasure of an in depth, interesting and entertaining exchange. Like all the McCarthys, he was a devoted Catholic and loved his immediate and extended family dearly. We are praying for Stacey and the kids and the entire McCarthy clan over this devastating loss. He will be missed! Hugs and Prayers, Sean, Tracy, Theodore and Leo Frick"

"My Wife Braunwyne were Kevin's neighbor on Rolling Hill Drive in Daphne, and were great friends as well. We were so happy for him when he and Stacey were engaged, and we attended their wedding with my wife about ready to give birth! We missed them both when they moved to Indianapolis, but have been happy for their blessings there. We are still shocked and saddened by this tragic accident. We pray for Kevin's parents, Stacey, his children, brothers and sisters, friends, and all whose lives he touched. We will remember Kevin as always having a smile on his face, a positive message, and a giving person. The world has been a better place with him in it. "

"Dear Stacey and the entire McCarthy family- Please accept our sympathies as you grieve the too early passing of Kevin. Stacey- as you may recall, I was Kevin's first Supervisor in the Mobile FBI Field Office and we all have many memories of his work and time here, though it was very brief. And there were other memories we have of Kevin outside work, including a memorable air guitar performance at a FBI XMAS party and a wonderful wedding ceremony and reception. We know Kevin was a person of deep faith and our knowledge of, and his witness to that faith, will serve to sustain all of the McCarthys and us during this difficult time. Sincerely, Tim and Dee Fuhrman."

"Not sure where to start since I have so many fine memories of Kevin. He had a personality that was contagious to all. He was one of those friends, that no matter how long you had gone without talking, you picked up right where you left off. The Douglas Family (Jenn 89' & John 91') will greatly miss his vibrant spirit, passion, drive, relentlessness, friendship and compassion. Enjoyed my recent visit with him. To Kevin's family (Stacey), our thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with this tremendous loss. John D"

"Kevin was here! But that we could all leave such a larger than life mark on those we know and love...on the world at large through our good deeds, through the people and companies with and for whom we work making them better and finally on those of us who were lucky enough to be able to call Kevin our friend. He would do anything for anyone, was always quick with advice - on life, business and everything and anything in between - and when he offered it you could tell it was because he really and truly cared. Love to Stacey, Kevin, Moira and Mary...we'll all be here for you. Just as Kevin will be here in our memories and in our hearts, always. "Hit the 18, he's got an 8 of clubs.""
