Susan E. Gordon-Svoboda, 69, of Fort Dodge, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the V.F.W. Post 1856 located at 518 S. 29th St. in Fort Dodge. Serving the family is the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.
Susan is survived by her children, Troy Svoboda; Nicole Contraras; Jeffrey Svoboda; Chad Svoboda; all of Grand Island, NE; Stephanie Svoboda of Fort Dodge; 7 grandsons and 3 granddaughters; brothers, Terry (Vickie) Gordon of Fort Dodge; Jerry (Debbie) Gordon; and Frank Gordon, both of Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Pat (Walters) Gordon; sons, Todd Svoboda and Jamie Svoboda; sisters, Sally Tubbs and Mary Jean (Ayala) Mays.
Susan Elizabeth Gordon was born on September 11, 1947, in Fort Dodge, IA.
