"Tom, Dick, and Debbie... Your mother, Betty, holds such a special place in my heart. Always upbeat, always encouraging, and always with a ready laugh, she was a positive part of my life since age six. Her deep and enduring friendship with my parents went back to their days in high school, and when I think of their social life she is in almost every picture. Betty was the very definition of "loving mother and grandmother" and of "truly faithful friend." She looked for the good in life. She was a genuinely giving and kind person. A model for us all. When I think of her I smile. In sympathy... Jim Freeman In sympathy, Jim Freeman"
