Michelle Lynn Colon, 29, of Deer Park, New York formerly North Port and Venice, FL died Friday May 11, 2012. Michelle was born December 17, 1982 in Sarasota, FL. She graduated from Venice High School class of 2001, attended University of Central Florida and graduated from St. Petersburg College class of 2005. Michelle was a Certified Veterinary Technician at My Pets Vet in Huntington, New York.
Michelle is survived by her daughter, Gracelyn Colon of Venice; parents, Michael and Laura Colon of Venice and formerly of North Port; sister, Breanne Conley of Venice and formerly North Port; grandmother, Carol Storz of Brightwaters, NY; her uncle Joe and aunt Becky Colon of North Port; aunt Kara and uncle Dave Bockstruck of Deer Park, NY; uncle Bob Storz of Deer Park, NY; uncle Donald Storz of Deer Park and uncle Peter Storz of Lakeland, FL. She was also survived by many other loving family members and dear friends. Michelle had a passion for animals, books and art. You were taken from us far too early, but God has his plans and summoned you.

"I did not know Michelle personally, but my son Michael Moore knew her at VHS and UCF. Unfortunately Michael passed sway in 2003. As parents we do not anticipate the loss of a child. It is most likely the toughest hurdle will we face during our lifetime. My thoughts, sympathy and prayers are with you and your family. "
