"I was sad to hear about George, I have had only a couple of chances to see and talk to him in the last few years and like always it was great. I was talking to Annette this weekend about all of you guys and growing up things were different back then people were much closer I feel. I loved both your mom and dad very much and I miss those great times we all had in the old neighborhood. Best whishes Lenny"

"George Roland Adams Jr. October 27, 1922February 14, 2007 Im free Dont grieve for me now for Im free Ill follow the path god laid for me I took his hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work or play Task left undone will stay that way I found that peace at close of day If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy A friendship shared, a laugh a kiss Ah, yes things I too shall miss But not burdened with times of sorrow I wish the sunshine of tomorrow My life has been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch Perhaps my time seemed all brief Dont lengthen it with undue grief Lift up your hearts and share with me God wanted me now He has set me free"

"My condolences to the family. I lost my father 3 years ago and Carolyn was there for me like a true friend. My belief is, we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience! All love, Susy"

"Hi guys. It's tough to hear these things when we're scattered so far apart. Two of my kids are north of Carolyn in H-County - we drive through Santa Rosa occassionally. Hope everything is going well for the Adams/Keller/Spencer gang. Our condolences. KW"
