"Aunt Gertrude was an inspiration to me. I will miss our lunches at Bob Evans Restaurant and the little talks we had. My fondest memories will be the times Russ & I spent with her, her trip to Alabama and to South Carolina, and our holidays together."

"Aunt Gertrude, was loved by all. I'll cherish the time's we spent together. Our trip to Alabama, to see her Sister Darlene. Our trip back to Florida we went the way her & Ottis went, when they would travel. It brought back a lot of good memories for her. I thank God for the time we spent together."

"Miss Gertrude...Proud to part of her church family. She treated my son, Jeremy, and I like her own. Always saying that "I believe the Lord has special plans for Jeremy!...Just wait & see". And when Mike & I got married, she always reminded us to put the Lord first. She truly was an angel, and we will miss her very much."
