"Jackie and I are so very sorry for your loss. We also feel we have lost someone close to us since we met Tom and Lu and the family over the 8 years we spent wintering thus far at 4 Bunker Terrace. We will miss the impromtu get-to-gethers, the day trips, the golf, the cocktail hours and parties and most of all having Tom in our lives even if it was simply a wave and a honk as the car drove by our house. We have one regret though and that is that we couldn't get to say goodbye before we left to come north because of a hurried departure due to health concerns. We will sincerely miss him and we hope to continue to see everyone when we return to FL so we can celibrate his life and our good times together. "Lu, Family & Friends; I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the many memories & good times that we enjoyed together with Tom. He could tell some funny stories that he experienced while being on the Police Department. One in particular was when he was standing in front of his cruiser showing off & twilling his night stick and the cruiser started rolling forward pushing Tom out in the roadway. Another story was when Tom was twilling his night stick and he struck his knee and limped back to his cruiser. That was the end of twilling his night stick! Tom enjoyed watching the Red Sox's with his grandson Ryan either eating ice cream or enjoying a Southern Comfort Manhattan. We had the distinct pleasure of being with Tom & Lucille on many occasions whether it be on a Carnival Cruise, Weddings or just socializing at Jam's or Blue Lagoon. He was a great husband, father & friend to all that knew him. We will truly miss him. Our deepest sympathy goes to Lu & Family. We love you all. God Bless!"
