Robert Keith "Bob" Wyatt 84, died November 27, 2015. He was born in Seelyville, Indiana on September 11, 1931. He lettered in Varsity Basketball and Baseball at Glenn High School. Bob served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1954. Married for 62 years, he is survived by his wife, Donna Rae. They had 3 sons: Dan, Don & Rick and later added their AFS son, Daniel Hernandez. Relocating to Plantation, Florida in 1969 Bob happily served as Scoutmaster for his boys and played a crucial role in helping all 3 achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. He retired from the Post Office in 1991. Retiring to Englewood Bob enjoyed playing softball, bowling and square dancing with Donna. He was a big fan of the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR. More than anything, Bob enjoyed cruising the Seven Seas with Donna. He will be deeply missed by Donna, Dan & Mary, Don & Michele, Rick & Grace, Daniel & Dina, his 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lemon Bay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Sarasota National Cemetery with military honors.
