"I had Mrs. Engelland for my kindergarten teacher back in Elyria, OH 1969-1970. My mom sent me her obituary. I know that was a long time ago, but I still have the coin she brought us from her Barbados trip!! I thought that was the coolest thing and have never forgotten her either!! Sorry for you loss!"

"I am so saddened to hear of Ione's passing. She has been a dear friend for more than 20 years. I knew her from singing and was the instructor for the water aerobics class at Pinebrook- which she seldom missed. My husband and I were so fortunate to be on the guest list for several of the "game nights" at their home in Pinebrook- what fun! She was always so kind to me and to any others she met. I will always miss her quiet and loving way, but I know she had such a strong faith, and will be glad to see her Bill again."
