Mrs. Bettie E. Lossau
May 15, 1932 - October 31, 2014

Bettie Elaine Lossau was born to Ralph and Stella Turnquist in Chicago, IL on May 15, 1932. She married a wonderful, godly man, Harold Lossau, on September 8th, 1951. Her life was devoted to the Lord, her family, teaching students, and having fun especially a good game of bingo. Bettie was a strong woman of her word, always striving to care for her family and friends.
On October 31, 2014, Bettie Lossau, age 82, passed away in Port Charlotte, Florida and joined the Lord in Heaven. She is survived by her sons - Paul (Victoire) Lossau, Michael (Kathy) Lossau, daughter-in-law, Karen Lossau, grandchildren- Andrew (Alyssa) Lossau, Peter Lossau, Aleisia (Jorge) De La Rosa, Kristin Lossau, Stephanie Lossau, Matthew Jr Lossau, Amelia Lossau, Michelle Lossau, and Luke Lossau, great-grandchildren - April De La Rosa and Greyson Brodzinski, along with the wife, Karin Turnquist, of her late brother Theodore (Ted) Turnquist and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harold and son Matthew. Her lively spirit and loving character will be remembered by all those who knew her.
