Erik Schmidt
April 19, 1962 - August 20, 2016
Erik was born in Liberty New York on April 19, 1962. He graduated from Vermont Academy with honors and went on to the Albany SUNY where he majored in Business Administration.
Erik resided in Orlando most of his adult life working for Westgate Corporation in marketing. Upon semi-retirement he spent time on Cape Cod in the summer and Rotunda Florida in the winter. Erik loved fishing and skiing.
Erik will be missed by many but mostly by his Mother Marilyn Eldredge of Cape Cod and Rotunda Florida, his five brothers and their wives-Keith Raggio and Debbie of Sterling Virginia; Kurt Raggio and Michelle Munsey of Cape Cod; Kent Schmidt and Colleen of Baldwinsville NY; Bruce Schmidt and Patricia Matos of Orlando Florida; David Van Riper Schmidt and Jennifer Atkinson from Denver Colorado, and many family members and cousins including John and Wanda Raggio of Las Vegas, NV, and his dog Brodie.
To all that knew Erik please remember him for his wonderful, vibrant personality and quick wit. And lastly please remember him in your prayers.
