David Allen Knapp 54 of Port Charlotte, Florida died on February 10,
2014 in Port Charlotte, Florida.
He was born June 24, 1959 in Ravenna, Ohio to David W. Knapp
and Carol A. McNeil Knapp. He came to Port Charlotte, Florida from
Ohio 30 years ago. David was the owner of Knapp's Car Care before
becoming a Disc Jockey and working at Boomers in Port Charlotte,
Florida. He was a member of the Defenders and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry of 35 years of Port Charlotte, FL, his
Daughter, Nicole Knapp and companion, Victor of Port Charlotte, FL; his
2 sons, David Jr. and Derek Knapp and his fiancé, Natasha both of Port
Charlotte, Florida; 2 brothers, Randy (Jeanie) Knapp of Akron, Ohio and
Jeffrey (Brenda) Knapp of Port Charlotte, Florida; his sister Julie (Marion)
Christy of Englewood, Florida; 3 grandchildren, Ian and Mya Hickman and
Alex Knapp.
Visitation Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Service time at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd.
