Floyd T. Kutz
September 28, 1921 - July 26, 2012

Floyd T. Kutz, 90, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away July 26, 2012. He was born September 28, 1921 in Chicago, IL and moved to this area in 1992 from Lake Ozark, MO. He served our country during WWII in the US Navy and worked as an Electrician for the American Electric Company in Chicago, IL. Mr. Kutz also served in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, from which he retired, and was a member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America. He was a member of the Charlotte Amateur Radio Society and the Peace River Repeater Association. His beloved wife Evelyn passed away in 1991.
He is survived by his children, Thomas (Donna) Kutz of Naperville, IL and Jannice (James) Fitzgibbons of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren, Sarah, Sean and Jeremy Kutz all of Naperville, IL; nieces, Katie Emmart of Round Rock, TX and Sue Nickol of Carmel, IN; nephew, Mark Kutz of Crystal Lake, IL; cousin, Bonita Smith of St Louis, MO and friend, Jacqueline Forbes of Punta Gorda, FL.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, Tuesday July 31, 2012 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL. The Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
