"My heart is broken for the Johnston Family. My son, Todd, and I knew Michael when they went to school together at St. Anthony's. Michael went with us to Green Turtle one time and he was his usual , smiling, sweet self. Losing such a special son, brother, friend, grandson, is the saddest thing that can ever happen to anyone in this life. God bless Michael's family and friends. "

"As a high school friend of Michael, I am so very sad to hear of his passing. Gone way too soon, he was a genuinely sweet person with a heart of gold. I have so many happy memories of being around him & Tara. They were lucky to have such a strong bond. I loved laughing with him. My heart hurts for everyone that knew and loved him. I would be there if I could and will be thinking of you all. What a huge loss. May he Rest In Peace and watch over from a soft cloud in the sky. With Love, Cristi Harris Rajevac"

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen!!! Rest now mike you will be missed. "

"I met Mike 15 years ago in the dorms freshman year in college and we immediately became close friends. He was then one of the nicest, funniest, honest, humble, and loyal person I have met. He was the same, the last time I spoke with him, just hours before his tragic passing this past weekend. He was a gentle giant who was always there for me and my family through our highs and lows- I will never forget how loyal and loving he was to me and my family and he will be dearly missed by us. I hope you are resting in peace in a much better place and know that we will always remember you as a true friend who always put a smile on the many lives you touched during your short stay with us. I love you brother."
