In loving memory of

Leslie G. Miller
July 19, 1958 - February 2, 2017

MADISON
Leslie Garland Miller, 58, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, February 2, at Agrace HospiceCare in the presence of family. She was born in Brookfield on July 19, 1958 to Richard K. and Bette (Pedersen) Garland.

Leslie is survived by her husband Alan; son and daughter, Steven and Samantha; mother Bette; siblings Deb (Mike) Polster, Keith (Deanna) Wipperfurth and Alyson Schaefer; sister-in-law, Linda (Steve) Miller; brothers-in-law, Jim (Karen) Miller and David Miller; and many loving nieces and nephews as well as a very special aunt, Peggy Meissner. She was preceded in death by her father.

Leslie's journey through life was filled with many blessed memories with family, friends and time in nature. She had a curiosity for life that manifested through her years as a scientist, and also in the way she conversed with others; she always brought out the best in them. During her final years on this earth, Leslie studied energy healing and found a new realm of peace and love that she shared with each and every person's life she touched. Even in her final days, while battling cancer, she took time to ask others how they were doing, a characteristic that radiates what a special soul she had. Although Leslie is no longer with us on earth, her energy, light and love has been woven into each and every person who has been blessed to know her. Leslie will live on forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Leslie's Life, open house, will be held at her sister Debbie Polster's home, 9710 Hill Creek Dr., Verona, Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 2 until 6 p.m. We look forward to everyone stopping by to celebrate Leslie's life and all of the love she has shared with each and every one of us.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Leslie may be made to Agrace HospiceCare or to the family Leslie's cremation services. We would like to thank the staff of Agrace for the devout attention to Leslie and the warmth and love you brought to her home when she was in need.

Please share your memories of Leslie.

"Dearest Leslie - I speak to you directly, because I know you will never really leave us. I will forever treasure the memories of our six years of being roommates "back in the day". We had so many wonderful times on both N. Whitney Way and Ski Ct. (yes - we survived the "hood" together, didn't we?). I was almost an honorary Garland sister during those years. ???'????'?? You were always there for me, through good times and bad. I know your indomitable spirit will be with us forever and I look forward to celebrating your life with the many others who loved you next weekend. Save a seat for me - I'll see you again! I LOVE YOU LESLIE! ??'"??'?"
