MUSCATINE, Iowa - Connie L. Meixner-Smith, 61, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, February 1. 2017.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton. There will be no visitation. The Ralph J. Connie was born on May 14, 1955, in Davenport, the daughter of Frank and Helen Ross Meixner.

She retired from Monsanto Company in 2007. Her life revolved around her granddaughter, Kambrie. She also enjoyed helping others anytime she could and donated her organs to others in need.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Jennifer Miller and husband, Ryan, of Fruitland; one granddaughter, Kambrie Miller; one brother, Melvin Meixner and wife, Khrystal, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and one sister, Elva Meixner of Wilton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Fred Meixner; and three sisters, Patricia Swift, Shirley Meixner, and Penny Parks.
