In loving memory of

Richard Thoe
May 8, 1967 - February 7, 2017

Richard "Rich" James Thoe, 49, of Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. He was born on May 8, 1967 to Gene and Judy (Mostek) Thoe. Rich attended Ashwaubenon High School and graduated in 1985. He joined the family business and worked at Standard Heating and Cooling for over 20 years. Rich then worked for Howard-Suamico School District. Rich looked forward to golf season every year with his buddies, bonfires in the backyard, Family Camp, and his afternoon dates with Judge Judy. He was a proud homeowner and made lasting friendships with his tenants. Rich loved his family and was especially fond of his nieces and nephews. He was always good for his unique laugh, endless teasing, and had nicknames for most of his family and friends. Rich's response to most questions was, "Pretty good and you?"
Rich will be sadly missed by his parents, Gene and Judy Thoe; siblings, Cory (Terry) Zuleger, Steve (fiancé, Wendy Swenson) Thoe, Brian Thoe, Jim (Michelle) Thoe, and Tracy (Mark) Hibbard; nieces and nephews, Sam Zuleger, Amy (Chris) Petrie, Nolan Zuleger, Kerri Hibbard, Sarah Hibbard, Lydia Thoe, Jackson Thoe, and Gavin Thoe; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Rich is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Milo and Cora Thoe, maternal grandparents, Frank and Della Mostek, his Godfather, Richard Laundrie, and his cousin, George Mostek.
Family and friends may visit Friday, February 10, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of memory sharing and Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of floral expressions, a memorial fund has been established in Rich's name.

"Sure am going to miss golfing with you bud. Boy we used to laugh, sometimes till we had tears coming out of our eyes at those unbelievably, extremely lucky golf shots we had. Never met anyone nor will I ever that golfs with a radio, box of cheese its, and a bag of peanuts. We had some good laughs on the deck and some pretty good, maybe questionable bonfires in the backyard too. Gonna miss you Richie. Now go out there and shoot under par for once!!! Till we meet again brother. P.S. When I get up there someday can we leave the radio behind. It's kind of distracting, LOL!!"

"So many funny memories of growing up and playing together on Blue Ridge Drive. Swimming in the pool, playing tennis against Kmart's back wall, lighting fires in the vacant lot! Ok, so not all of the memories are of legal activities, they were all fun and they made us who we are. My heart is broken for the Thoe family and all of Rich's family and friends. I'm praying comfort and peace for all of you throughout this sad time. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28"
