"To the Schulte family especially David and Greg. I just want you to know what a privilege and honor it was to know your Mom and your Dad. Not only did they become my friend but they also allowed me into their family and became a part of mine. Virgie had the kindest heart and the gentlest soul. I will remember and treasure so many times we shared on this earth and smile because you made it a better place. Rest easy my friend - Until we meet again. Bob ,Debbie, Jodi Seifert"

"I had the pleasure of working with Virgie at Capitol Indemnity. One of my fondest memories of her was when I was just returning back from maternity leave and needed to come in on a Saturday morning to finish up on something to meet a deadline. She overheard me talking to Paul, our VP/Treasurer, about finding child care on a Saturday morning and without hesitation she told me to bring the baby in and she would watch him while I worked. So, early Saturday morning she was waiting for me when I got to the office and she set up his little travel playpen and watched him until I was done. To this day, I'm not 100% convinced she had to be at the office to work that morning, but more so wanted to enjoy a newborn for a little while. Her act of kindness will stay with me forever. She was caring, always generous of herself and her time, and genuine and I pray she has found peace and is surrounded by her loved ones who have gone before her. My prayers are also with her family and friends during this difficult time and may she rest in peace. "

"I am fortunate to have had a mother who was the most kind and generous person I ever met. My many memories of her are inspiring, and will continue to provide a positive model to shape the rest of my life. After such a long struggle, I am relieved that she is finally reunited with my dad, Mark and other family members. Rest in peace mom. I love you."
