RUTH JANE STOCKDALE, 78 of Rotonda West, Fl died March 7, 2017. She was born on October 28, 1938 in Hoboken, NJ and came to this area in 1974 from Point Pleasant, NJ. She worked for Englewood Elementary for 24 years.
She is survived by her son, Kevin (Shelby) of Rotonda West; two daughters, Cathy Stockdale of Ohio and Deborah Kennedy Stockdale (Tom) of Iowa; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Byler, Saxon Stockdale, Megan Moye and Kiri Polak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Stockdale.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. David's Episcopal Church in Englewood. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to either Meals on Wheels or Tidewell Hospice.
Lemon Bay Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Englewood is in charge of cremation arrangements.
