"Tom was a one of a kind character. Cedar Bluff has seen the end of an era. I knew Tom since 1969 or so, when he first came to Cedar Bluff to live. I'll miss his stories and our fishing trips most of all. I'll also miss his life "advice" that seemed to come from experience (some good, some bad!). Our sympathy is with you at this sad time. "I liked Tom the minute I met him having coffee time at the Family Restraunt I admired his service and his WONDERFUL sense of humor. I saw him at Tiger Mart about two weeks ago and he said " shit they let you out of the house" during the entire time I would see him we would joke. I would say " who lifted the rock you were under ". I really like Tom he was so funny loved his stories and observations. He made me feel good right when I moved to Tipton. I loved running into him I always walked away laughing. Tom I will dearly miss running into you at store or around town. You will be remembered by me always. Sympathy to your family. Hey even when it was 110 degrees there was Tom in his long sleeves."
