Julie Ann Mearns
January 25, 1961 - March 9, 2017

Julie Ann Mearns walked through Heaven's Gates on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in Arcadia, Florida.
Julie was born on January 25, 1961 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She moved with her family to Punta Gorda in March of 1962. During her schooling years Julie attended Charlotte County Schools. She studied cosmetology and enjoyed many years helping people look their best. Julie cherished her children and her family.
Even though Julie struggled with her own imperfections in her adult life, she always expressed kindness and love for those around her. The family is glad that she is happy, healthy, free and now walking with Jesus.
Julie is survived by her children, John Eric, Lana, Megan and her grand-baby, Jacek. She is also survived by her special friend, Hector. Her most loving parents, Jack and Shirley Mearns; sister, Debby Mearns and brother, Jeffrey (Diane) Mearns. Also many nieces and nephews. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, But Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in the sanctuary at First United Methodist Church in Punta Gorda on Marion Avenue. Visitation will be at 1 p.m., with the service following at 2 p.m.
Internment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
