"Sue - My birthday buddy, I will miss your humor and compassion for people and life. We had such a great working relationship between our two departments at HNI. You were very dedicated and willing to work with everyone to get your job done and to help others out with theirs. I could always rely on you to help me with our special Social Committee fundraisers. Although we didn't agree on political issues, I could always count on you for a spirited debate of these issues. You were a great friend and fellow co-worker. My sympathies to your family, whom you loved dearly. Your face would light up when you talked about your grandchildren. Their pictures were always first and foremost on your desk. I know you are now with the love of your life, Jon, and will watch over your family every day. Rest in peace my friend, and I look forward to seeing you again some day. Maybe we can finally have that lunch we planned on before you became ill."
