"3-22-22 Dad: It has been 5 years today that you went to heaven. My heart is broken with your loss, a break that will never heal; you were the most Fantastic Father that any child could ever hope to have. I wish that we could visit for a while and catch up on everything. I know that you are taking great care of the \"Big Kitty\", she was such a Terrific Mother. You both are in my prayers every day; I can\'t wait for the time when we are together again, and I can ask you \"Who\'s Your Partner\"?? Your Loving Son Forever!!!!+++ Philip, Ingrid & RICO \"The Super Dog\""

You were the Best Parents that anyone could have hoped for; thank you for giving me the tools of life to function in life. Until we are united again together. Your Forever Partner and Son, God Bless Philip"

"Through canoe trips in the Boundary Waters and at the Yellow River cabin some 50 years ago, Chad instilled in our scout patrol a sense of adventure and curiosity. Now, every time I leave the vehicle behind to take the first step off a trailhead or the first paddle stroke on a canoe trip, it is a result of a desire to find out what's down the trail or river that Chad helped build in his scouts. Chad, you'll forever remain in my memory for the appreciation of the outdoors, for the humor and ditties you wove into our trips, and for the confidence you gave me when I was young to continue to find new adventures. I cannot thank you enough. Helen and Phil, you too are a significant part of those memories and my thoughts are with you both. "

"Chad was a great guy. He got the job for me at Fulda which eventually led to me buying the funeral homes in Slayton. Chad has a million funny stories and could tell them like nobody else. Another time he took me and 3 other funeral directors to a casket company near Chicsgo. Lowell Hoff went on that trip-we had a ball!! My deepest sympathies to Helen and the rest of Chad's family. He was one of the really great guys in funeral service."

"Thank you Chad for sharing your experiences in the BWCA and Quetico Park with my brother Jim and I over 45 years ago. The experience you and my dad, Frank Ramisch, shared with us left a lasting impression on me to this day. Since that trip back in August of 1970 seldom a year goes by I don't return to explore that treasured area. Every time I'm in Northern Lights Country with my two boys Chad and Chris, I can't help but think of you and dad. Thanks too for the many fine memories at the cabin on the Yellow River in northwestern Wisconsin. Helen, Phil, and family, Chad will be dearly missed, however, never forgotten. Rest in peace Chad, and God Bless. Tom Ramisch and Family, White Bear Lake, MN. "

Steve Remick wrote on Mar 26, 2017:

"I was a next door neighbor of his mother, Hazel. I and my siblings were very close to Grandma Chadwick. We would go there for cookies. Chad and family would visit his mom. Being a funeral director. On one occasion I ask Chad if he ever sold "used" coffins? Another memory I have is when Chad and Helen visited our house dressed as Mr and Mrs Santa Claus. I caught on pretty fast they were not Helen, Philip and family. I'm sorry for your loss. He had a good life. Rest In Peace Chad Steve Remick Elk River Mn"

"My sincere condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. True comfort comes by drawing close to God (Psalms 83:18) in prayers so He (God) can draw close to you in return. (James 4:8). "
