LAKEWOOD, Colorado - Evelyn H. Thede, 102, formerly of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017, in Lakewood Colorado.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend David Morris will officiate. Evelyn was born on August 16, 1914, in Muscatine, the daughter of Nelson and Emma Farrier Long. She married Harry Thede on January 31, 1934, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death in 1995.
She worked at McKee Button Company for many years.
Those left to honor her memory include one son, Darrell Thede, of Lakewood, Colorado; two grandchildren, David Thede, of Goodland, Kansas and Reneé Nellis of Lakewood, Colorado; three great grandchildren, Kaylynn and Kelsey Nellis of Lakewood, Colorado, Austin Thede of Roxborough, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one granddaughter, Kristen Beth Thede, and six brothers and sisters.
