Jane "Jhani " Laupus wrote on Apr 19, 2017:

"Mrs. Montgomery was an inspiring mother figure, friend, and community leader. I knew her well as a child, growing up in Seymour and benefited along with so many others from her caring and principled manner, her energy and commitment, and her spirit to always be a force for good in the many Seymour community activities and organizations she lead. And organizations beyond Seymour in which she was active and influential,as well. She encouraged so many of us girls to go above and beyond. She set me on a pathway to Brazil and gourmet foods--lamb chops! Her contributions will go on and on through her family and so many other lives she touched. With my condolences, Jane L.
