Donna Rae McBride
October 2, 1940 - April 7, 2017

Donna Rae McBride, 76, of West Burlington died at 7:55 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at the Klein Center of GRMC.
Born October 2, 1940 in Kirksville, MO, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Lura D. Coulson Swann.
She married Richard Taylor and they later divorced. On October 26, 1974 in West Burlington she married Robert E. McBride.
Donna was a 1958 graduate of Burlington High School and worked on the production line for Champion Spark Plug for 30 years retiring in 1989.
She was a member of West Burlington United Methodist Church. She enjoyed oil painting, golfing, singing, and her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Bob; two daughters, Denise Morse and Diane (Randy) Jordan both of Burlington; one son, Douglas (Amy) Taylor of Milliken, CO; two stepdaughters, Robin Rue of Burlington, and Dawn (David) Davolt of Ft. Madison; two stepsons, Glen (Myrna) McBride and Robert McBride both of Oklahoma City, OK.; ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, stepbrother and one grandson.
Friends may call after noon on Tuesday, April 11th until 8 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. at Lunning Chapel.
The funeral service for Mrs. McBride will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 12th, in Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Joyce Proctor officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, West Burlington.
A memorial has been established for West Burlington United Methodist Church.
