In loving memory of

Henry R. Miller
January 1, 1954 - April 7, 2017

Henry R. Miller, 63, of Crivitz, passed away on April 7, 2017 in Green Bay. He was born on January 1, 1954 to Donald and Helen (Korntved) Miller in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. On June 23, 2015, he married his special love, Diane Nikolas. Henry worked at Appleton Coated in Combined Locks as an electrician where he retired in 2014. Some of Henry's enjoyments in life included bluegrass music, festivals, fishing, road trips and adventures, and nature around him-especially his flying squirrels in the backyard. Above all, Henry enjoyed the company of family and friends. He fulfilled a goal of fishing with his sons in Canada, and this summer, he was able to share his love of fishing with his grandsons. Henry had the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, make a new friend, and bring laughter to the room. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all the people whose lives he touched.
Survivors include his wife, Diane; five children, Tina (Brian) Anker, Shawano, Donovan (Nicolette) Miller, Green Bay, Jonathan (Kyle Prellwitz) Miller, Green Bay, William Miller, Freedom, and Heather (Andrew Plucinski) Koeller, Milwaukee; four grandchildren, Jaxon Miller, Jaeger Miller, Alyssa Anker and Nikki Anker; his sister, Bette (Kurby) Hoffman; nieces and nephews, Sara (Paul) Boettcher and Shawn Hoffman.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Chris (Koeller) Miller; sister, Carol Zehren; and his brothers, Peter Miller and Walter Miller.
Celebration of life events will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Rapids Resort Bar and Restaurant, W14073 County Road C, Town of Silver Cliff, and again on Saturday, April 15, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Beaver's Hut, N4111 County Road E, Freedom.

"Hello - I'm an old high school friend. I believe Henry wouldn't like a big grief session, as I remember him, so I'll say that I thought of him often over the years and wish we could've had the coffee he said we should do. I contacted him on FB a couple weeks ago, and now this. I'm sorry, but he really did love fun and he really enjoyed laughter. One of a kind. Peace and love to the family and friends. See you again Henry."

"Henry was probably the the most mellow and easy going guy I ever met. Deepest sympathy to his family. "
