Thomas M. Exferd, age 70, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Monday, April 10, 2017. He was born on January 22, 1947, to the late Elmer and Hilda (Ferron) Exferd. Tom was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He drove semi for 44 years until his retirement. Tom went on to work for the Village of Ashwaubenon doing park maintenance. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, driving his Corvette, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Tom will be sadly missed by his children, Jodi (Tom) Harrison, Joleen Exferd, and Mike Exferd (special friend, Jessica Van Camp); grandchildren, Lauren (Kevin) Rank, Morgan Exferd, Kelan Exferd, Ashley (Matt) Nachreiner, Kayla and Elissa Harrison, and Megan (Dan) Behnke; great-grandson, Landon Wilcott; sister, Bonnie (Melvin) Challis; numerous nieces and nephews; and his little buddy, Hickok.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of floral expressions, a memorial fund has been established in Tom's name.
Tom's family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Unity Hospice, Green Bay Oncology, and Fr. Patrick Beno for their compassion and care throughout this difficult time.
